Architecture Student,18, was stabbed 18 times as he was about to go home in Taguig City  on Tuesday.

The evidence for this case is the CCTV Footage which showed Nick Russel Oniot who was walking home from school when one of the suspects grabbed his bag by force. The other suspect stabbed the victim then promptly left him and his backpack.

In the footage, the victim still had the strength to call a jeepney. However, the driver did not stop for that student until he was down on the ground due to his wounds.

Renato, the father of the victim, railed against the bystanders for it was seen in the footage that they did nothing despite seeing his son lying on the ground.

“Sumilip lang tapos pumasok ulit. Dapat sana nagmalasakit sila, dahil nakita nila yung anak ko, naka-uniporme, may ID, hindi naman masamang tao, baka iniisip nila masama ring tao yun."

The Police already identified the suspects: Ricardo Clave and Marvin Bernardo, the one who stabbed Oniot, was seen in the CCTV Footage and was later arrested.

Nicnoc Duenas, the Sentral Signal Barangay Captain said that Bernardo was killed while they were on the way to the Headquearters when Bernardo grabbed the gun of a police officer.

“Dahil siguro sa kagustuhan niya na makatakas, inagaw ang baril ng pulis natin. Ngayon hawak niya yung baril ng pulis natin dhil nasa imminent danger na, binaril nung kasamang pulis."

Renato called the attention of the administration to make the campaign for criminality more forceful so that this will not happen again.

“Dapat maalis talaga yung mga ganyang krimen, lalong lalo na sa mga estudyante, kampante silang naglalakad, ayun pala, may mga kriminal na nakaabang," Renato Oniot said.
