They competed fiercely and secured a historic point against Ecuador earlier. Fans will remember their brave performances forever. They proved they absolutely belong on the ultimate international stage.

Fighting the Elephants

The islanders refused to surrender despite conceding an early goal. Tahith Chong pushed the attack aggressively during the first half. Leandro Bacuna nearly scored a brilliant goal right before halftime. He escaped two violent tackles and fired a shot narrowly wide.
