To retrieve your Aadhaar or Enrolment number

Visit the Aadhaar website at www.uidai.gov.in and head to the 'Aadhaar Online Services' tab. Click on 'Retrieve Lost UID/EID'.

On the next page, fill required details and choose whether you want to retrieve Aadhaar Number or Enrolment Number.

An OTP will be sent to your mobile or email. Once you verify it, the Aadhaar/Enrolment number will be sent to your phone or email.

To download a copy
Click on 'Download Aadhaar'. On the next page, enter the Aadhaar/Enrolment ID you received. Click on 'Get One Time Password'. Once again, verify it. A password-protected PDF file will be downloaded. The password is the pin code of your registered home address.
