Massive Lawsuit Hits New Varun Dhawan Comedy Film

A massive legal dispute threatens a new Bollywood comedy today. Puja Entertainment filed a 4 billion rupee lawsuit against Tips Industries. The conflict targets the upcoming Varun Dhawan movie.

Disputing Classic Music Rights

The lawsuit alleges unauthorized use of two popular 1999 songs. Puja Entertainment claims Tips Industries lacks valid visual rights for these tracks. Vashu Bhagnani demands an urgent injunction to halt the film release.

The disputed tracks feature heavily in the upcoming movie and its marketing campaigns. The production house also strongly objects to the actual film title. They claim the producers derived the title directly from one of the songs.

Tips Industries Rejects the Claims

Tips Industries totally rejected these legal allegations on Thursday. The company insists it legally owns all music and audio rights. They described the massive financial claims as completely baseless.

Director David Dhawan plans to release the movie on June 5. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, and Mrunal Thakur.
