Sushant Singh Rajput has upped his ante for his upcoming movie ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. He has returned with hands-on training in NASA for his role in the movie. According to the actor’s statement to IANS, it was a once in a lifetime experience of living like an astronaut in NASA, and he doesn’t consider disappointing fans as an option.
PTI quoted Sushant stating that the movie has a definite challenge with the comparisons that will be made with Gravity, a space drama directed by Alfonso Cuaron, and Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Without the same amount of funding, it is certainly the biggest challenge to deliver the same experience to the audience.
Sushant has co-starred with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan in ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’. As a part of the films’ promotion, pictures of Sushant’s NASA itinerary and training schedule have been posted on social media.
