Who Is Nour Hajjar?
Nour Hajjar has found his way into the Middle Eastern comedic scene. Best known for his highly popular comedy specials “Meit Shabb” (2019) and “Selloum w Hayye”(2020), the Lebanese stand-up comedian and actor is impressively multitalented. Singing the fears of everyone, everywhere.
There are videos of him circulating online, playing all over the world, in major cities across Europe and the Middle East. He also did a headliner on the prestigious Dubai comedy festival indicating his eclipsing status among regional comics.
Nour is most recognized as the face of hit online web series Stand-Up Baladi, Lebanon's first ever Lebanese stand up comedy project that was viewed over half a million times on YouTube. His political satire and comedic take on life in Lebanon became widely popular on social media, cementing him as the voice of a generation of Lebanese youth.
