3. Condition The Ends, Not The Roots
Conditioner helps soften hair and reduce friction.
Apply conditioner mainly from the mid-lengths to the ends. These areas usually face the most dryness, brushing, heat, and friction.
Avoid heavy conditioner on the scalp if your roots get oily quickly. It can make hair look flat.
Leave conditioner on for the time mentioned on the label. Then rinse well.
Simple habit: Keep a wide-tooth comb in the shower. For thick or curly hair, gentle detangling with conditioner can reduce pulling.
