9. Maintain a Strict Hands Off Policy
Never pick or squeeze or pop an active blemish. A visible breakout takes several weeks to form deep underground. Squeezing forces the infected material much deeper into your dermis layer.
This escalates local inflammation and leaves permanent indented scars behind. Apply a simple hydrocolloid patch over the blemish instead. Let the patch absorb the fluid safely overnight.
