Choithrams Launches Ticketless Parking in Dubai

Choithrams and PARKONIC introduced a new ticketless parking system today. Shoppers will find this modern upgrade at three Dubai store locations. The companies plan to complete this exciting rollout by mid-April.

How the Smart System Works

The pilot program covers the DEC Marina, JVC Manhattan, and Silicon Oasis stores. The innovative PARKONIC operating system powers this entire parking network. Customers completely avoid physical paper tickets during their grocery runs.

The supermarket offers one full hour of free parking to all shoppers. Cashiers validate the parking directly at the store checkout counter. Customers simply tell the cashier their vehicle license plate number.

Easy Payment Options

The system charges shoppers 15 dirhams for every extra hour. Drivers can easily pay this fee using a quick QR code. The system also deducts payments directly from an active SALIK account.

Enhancing the Customer Journey

Choithrams CEO Mark Mortimer-Davies recently discussed this new parking initiative. He emphasized the strong customer-centric focus of the popular retail brand. The team constantly seeks new ways to smooth out the shopping experience.

Mortimer-Davies noted that easy parking significantly shapes the overall store visit. No customer wants to struggle to find a parking spot.

PARKONIC CEO Imad Alameddine echoed these positive sentiments about the partnership. He stated that modern retail requires a completely seamless customer journey. This smart collaboration successfully removes everyday friction points for arriving drivers.
