How UAE Retail Investors Can Apply For Shares In The DIP Holding IPO

Key Dates And Investor Number Requirements

UAE residents looking to invest in the DIP Holding initial public offering can apply starting October 27. Parent company Dubai Investments plans to sell a 20 percent stake in the operator of Dubai Investments Park. Public retail subscriptions will close on November 3, and the shares will debut on the Dubai Financial Market on November 11. Before applying, every retail investor must obtain a DFM Investor Number, known as a NIN. You can register for a NIN directly through the DFM mobile app, a licensed broker, or the Wio and Mbank apps. Individual applicants need a valid passport or Emirates ID to complete the digital verification process. Once you have your NIN, you can submit your subscription through the DFM platform or the iVESTOR app. Major receiving banks—including Emirates NBD, ADCB, ADIB, DIB, Emirates Islamic, FAB, and Wio—also accept applications.

Minimum Investment Amounts And Payment Deadlines

For the general public retail category, the minimum subscription application stands at Dh5,000. Investors can increase their applications in multiples of Dh1,000, with no maximum limit set in the offer documents. However, each investor must submit only one application in the same capacity to avoid automatic rejection. Eligible Dubai Investments employees enjoy a lower Dh1,000 minimum, while eligible existing shareholders start at Dh5,000. DIP Holding will announce the initial offer price range on October 27 and confirm the final share price on November 4. Investors must pay close attention to payment deadlines, as cut-off times vary by banking method. Cheque payments close at 1:00 pm on October 31, while PGS, FTS, and SWIFT transfers close at 1:00 pm on November 2. Online banking, ATM, and mobile app subscriptions remain open until 1:00 pm on November 3.

Share Allocations And Surplus Refunds

Applying for a specific amount does not guarantee you will receive that full value in shares. Final allocations depend on total investor demand across the retail tranche. The public category includes a minimum guaranteed allocation of up to 2,000 shares per subscriber, subject to total availability. Officials will send SMS allocation notices and begin refunding surplus subscription cash on November 10. Once trading begins on November 11, investors can hold their shares or place sell orders through their brokers. Financial advisors urge applicants to read the official prospectus and review all risk factors before committing funds.
