European Stocks Open Higher Amid US-Iran Peace Hopes

European stock markets opened higher during early trading today. Dropping oil prices drove these positive early morning financial gains. Investors also feel hopeful about a potential US-Iran peace agreement.

Tracking the Major Indices

The French CAC 40 index climbed 0.23 percent in Paris. The German DAX index also rose 0.10 percent in Frankfurt.

Britain's FTSE 100 index gained 0.24 percent across the channel. Finally, the Italian FTSE MIB jumped 0.36 percent in Milan.
