Italian Accounted Jailed For 24 Years For Intentionally Spreading HIV

4 others have contracted the deadly virus indirectly

A 33-year-old Italian lawyer, Valentino Talluto has been sentenced to 24-years in prison for intentionally infecting 30 women with HIV. Talluto is said to have had unprotected sex with 53 women since he was diagnosed in 2006 with HIV.

He went under the alias of “Hearty Style” to rope in his victims on social media and dating sites. A 14-year-old is said to be his youngest victim. His lawyers have defended him saying that their client was imprudent but didn’t do it intentionally.

When pressed by some of the women to use protection, Talluto said that he was either allergic or that he had got himself tested for HIV recently.

Some of the women confronted Talluto after they tested positive for HIV which can cause AIDS. Talluto denied that he had HIV. 4 others have got indirectly infected due to Talluto’s actions.

A judge said that his intention was to sow death but Talluto has disputed the charges saying that he would have had casual sex in bars if his intention was to spread death to others instead of wasting time on real relationships.
