The latest iPhone XS and XS Max are the most expensive iPhones that Apple has ever launched. While any shop keeper would be happy to sell the latest iPhone to a buyer, in a store in Russia, it literally frustrated the store clerk. This is because a man walked in at an Apple authorised reseller store in the country carrying a bathtub full of coins to buy the new iPhone XS (256GB storage).

The bathtub had 100,000 Russian rubles the exact price of the 256GB version of the Apple iPhone XS. Thankfully, the buyer was not sent back and the store clerk actually sat down to count the coins. The buyer did have to wait to get hands on his new iPhone XS while the store clerks continued to count the amount, according to a report by PhoneArena. While most buyers with tight budget opt for EMI plans to buy new iPhones, this could be a one-of-a-kind situation which Apple may not be particularly happy about.

This incident reminds us of the rumours dating way back to 2012 when it was reported that Samsung had sent 30 trucks to Apple headquarters loaded with 5 cent coins to pay the $1 billion fine after Apple won the patent infringement case against Samsung. However, it was soon revealed that the news story was false. 

Readers are advised not to consider this prank seriously because there is a possibility that the store manager might simply refuse to sell you. But still, if you want to try doing something like this, be sure to confirm with the store before you start collecting pennies for your new iPhone.
