Taylor Swift Shares Warm Hug With Mother-In-Law Donna Kelce At Chiefs Game

A Family Reunion Inside The Arrowhead Suite

Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium turned into a joyful Kelce family celebration from the parking lot to the luxury suites. When the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Los Angeles Chargers on October 18, Taylor Swift returned to her customary VIP box. Cheering on her husband Travis Kelce, the 36-year-old pop superstar delivered one of the sweetest moments of the day off the field. Photographs from inside the suite captured Swift beaming and wrapping her mother-in-law, 74-year-old Donna Kelce, in a warm hug. The affectionate greeting highlighted the close family bond formed since Swift and the Chiefs tight end married on July 3 in New York City. Both women dressed in festive team colors for the divisional football clash. The 14-time Grammy winner wore a red long-sleeve turtleneck bodysuit paired with gold nails and her signature red lipstick. Meanwhile, Donna sported a studded black denim jacket featuring a bold Kansas City logo across the back.

Pre-Game Tailgating With Jason Kelce

Swift also welcomed famous friends into the suite, watching the game alongside WNBA star Caitlin Clark and musician Este Haim. Hours before kickoff, the rest of the Kelce clan kicked off the festivities outside in the stadium parking lot. Donna and her ex-husband, Ed Kelce, joined their older son, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, at an 11:00 am tailgate party. The 38-year-old former NFL star hosted the lively New Heights podcast tailgate in Lot M of the Truman Sports Complex. Videos shared on social media showed Jason firing up the Kansas City crowd and celebrating wildly when a fan sank a long basketball shot.

A Busy Autumn For The Newlyweds

The Chargers matchup marked Kansas City's first game back following their Week 5 bye. Both Swift and Travis Kelce kept busy schedules during the brief break in the NFL calendar. On Saturday night, October 17, Swift attended the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles wearing a custom Jonathan Anderson Dior gown before flying to Missouri. Earlier in the month, Travis traveled to his home state of Ohio to cheer on the Cleveland Guardians during the American League Division Series on October 10. The three-time Super Bowl champion purchased a minority ownership stake in the baseball franchise back in May. The couple also celebrated Travis's 37th birthday earlier this month with several quiet date nights across Manhattan. Keep up with the biggest stars in music, sports, and pop culture.
