Air Arabia Expands European Network With Direct Flights Between Sharjah and Rome

The UAE's budget airline sector continues to offer fantastic new opportunities for international travelers. Air Arabia has officially launched a new direct flight service connecting Sharjah International Airport with Rome Fiumicino Airport. This makes the historic Italian capital the airline's second beautiful destination in Italy, joining Milan Bergamo.

The highly anticipated route will operate five times a week, providing passengers with affordable and convenient travel options. Adel Al Ali, the group CEO of Air Arabia, expressed great enthusiasm for the expansion, noting that Italy remains a highly important and popular market for UAE residents and global tourists.

Strengthening Global Connectivity

The launch was celebrated with wonderful ceremonies at both airports, attended by airline officials and local aviation authorities. Rome Fiumicino Airport representatives praised the new connection, highlighting how it strengthens essential tourism and business links with the Middle East.

This addition proudly expands Air Arabia's growing European network, which already includes highly sought-after destinations like Munich, Vienna, Athens, and London Gatwick. Passengers can look forward to comfortable journeys aboard the airline's modern Airbus A320neo aircraft.
