The Arab League has taken a very firm and unified diplomatic stance regarding recent regional hostilities. The organization issued a formal statement from Doha strongly condemning the recent Iranian military attacks targeting areas in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, describing the actions as a dangerous regional escalation.
The General Secretariat emphasized that these military strikes represent a serious breach of international law and a direct violation of the sovereignty of Arab states. The League highlighted that the safety and stability of the Gulf states are absolutely integral to broader Arab national security.
Calling for Diplomatic Resolutions and Solidarity
In its official response, the Arab League firmly called on Iran to immediately cease all hostile activities and respect the sovereign borders of its neighboring countries. The organization strongly urged all involved parties to commit to peaceful dialogue, stressing that diplomacy remains the only sustainable path toward resolving complex regional disputes.
The statement also called upon the international community to take a clear stance against any military actions that destabilize the Middle East and endanger civilian lives. Furthermore, the Arab League reiterated its full, unwavering solidarity with Oman, the UAE, and Kuwait during this tense period.
The organization affirmed its complete support for all defensive measures taken by the three Gulf nations to protect their sovereign territories and ensure the ongoing safety of their citizens, projecting a deeply unified front in rejecting regional aggression.
