4. She Guards Her Private Life

Cameron Diaz has dated plenty of high-profile men in her life, including Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, Matt Dillon and so many more. Yet, the only relationship that has managed to work for her is the one she has with Benji Madden. The two tied the knot back in 2015 and from what we know, they are very happy together. This is because she’s very careful about guarding her private life. She doesn’t want anyone to know what’s going on behind closed doors.

Cameron once explained it this way: “I love the feeling that you get when you can really laugh with a man and be natural and not always think that there’s a s*xual element going on. For me, flirting with a man means making fun of myself and trying to open myself and be very unpretentious.”

3. Short Shelf Life

While a lot of people are asking themselves, “What happened to Cameron Diaz?” every day (okay, maybe not every day), others seem to know the answer: Cameron had a short shelf life. Apparently, that’s what happens to a lot of good-looking actresses, according to Hollywood critics. The moment you start aging, no one wants to sign you on for films anymore.

Of course, Cameron doesn’t see it this way. She could definitely fund and star in her own movie if she wanted to. Yes, she’s that filthy rich and she’s still got that much power in Hollywood. Plus, Cameron is ambitious. She once said, “Whatever success people have in a field, it’s a result of hard work. If you ultimately succeed in one place, you must have worked hard there or somewhere else.”
