Author J K Rowling in her own word ‘had failed on an epic scale’. She had a short-lived marriage, was jobless, a lone parent, and poor. In her Harvard university commencement speech in 2008 she said, “Some failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.”
