4.Set Consequences
"When a confrontational and hostile individual insists on violating your boundaries, and won’t take “no” for an answer, deploy consequence", says Preston Ni in his essential reference guide on ways to handle passive-aggressive people. If the other person isn't backing down following your pleas and requests, state the future consequences to make them "stand down". However, make sure not to sound threatening or blackmailing.
