Living legend and megastar Amitabh Bachchan has said that this year he would neither be celebrating his birthday on October 11th nor the festival of lights ‘Diwali’. This year he would be turning 75 years old but has said that there would be no celebrations whatsoever.
Though there are no claims made by the star as to why he would not celebrate the two occasions this year, the speculations suggest that the reason could be the sad demise of Krishnaraj Rai, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father.
Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on Saturday about the cancellation of Diwali celebrations. However, he has not confirmed if the reason for a quiet birthday and Diwali is the death of a close relative. He has simply informed that there would be no celebrations of any kind.
