Ayushmann Khurana Celebrates 33rd Birthday

The charming and unconventional actor, Ayushmann Khurana was born on 14 September 1984 in Chandigarh, India. He made his debut with Shoojit Sircar's romantic comedy Vicky Donor in 2012 and became a favorite among audiences as well as directors. So far in his career, he has won two Filmfare awards.

Ayushmann majored in English Literature and has a master’s degree in Mass Communication, perhaps, that’s what makes him so artsy. While at DAV College, he was one of the founding members of the theatre groups called "Aaghaaz" and "Manchtantra" and even won many prizes in national college festivals. He later went on to become a popular radio jockey at the start of his career. He appeared on the second season of MTV Roadies and became a VJ on MTV India.

His turning point came when he made his debut in ‘Vicky Donor’ in 2012 which became a big hit and made him a sought-after Bollywood actor. The movie became one of the biggest hits of the year and propelled Ayushmann Khurana’s movie career to greater heights. His singing talent was revealed in the song ‘Pani Da Rang’ which he composed and sang himself and it also became a big hit. His multifaceted personality makes him a very charming and approachable actor for any type of a role, except the script must have some substance.

Born in Chandigarh, Ayushmann had a simple yet intellectual upbringing, so to speak. His father, P Khurrana, is a politician, astrologer, and an author, and his mother, Poonam, is a qualified M.A. in Hindi. This ambiance at home inculcated the writer in Ayushmann, and he started blogging in Hindi and also started writing poetry. His brother, Aparshakti Khurrana, started his career as a radio jockey at OYE 104.8 FM in Delhi but later made his debut in Aamir Khan's Dangal. He got married to his childhood sweetheart, Tahira and has two children with her, a son, Virajveer, and a daughter, Varushka.

His youthful and relaxed attitude makes him a firm favorite with people from all generations. The roles he’s done in his career show how versatile he is as an actor. His latest firm Bareilly Ki Barfi reinstated his position as one of the most natural actors of our times. Here’s wishing him a very happy birthday.
