Drake Stops Gig To Scream At Fan To Stop Groping Women

Drake Stops Gig To Scream At Fan To Stop Groping Women

There's been a lot in the media recently about sexual assault, and about the entertainment industry turning a blind eye to what looks to be a frighteningly common occurrence.

However, Canadian rapper Drake is not down for any such creepy behaviour and interrupted one of his own gigs to call out a dickhead in the audience who was groping women.

At an after party performance in Sydney, Drake paused his show and shouted: "Yo, stop that shit," at the man.

"If you don't stop touching girls, I will come out there and fuck you up.

"I'm not playing, if you don't stop putting your hands on girls, I'm gonna come out there and fuck your ass up."

He then went on to repeat what he had said while the audience screamed and cheered for Drake. A member of the security team could be seen shining a torch on the crowd to try and pick out the person.

Louise Sukari, who filmed Drake's outburst, posted it to Instagram with the caption: "I got this close to Drake threatening to jump into the crowd to start a fight with a guy groping a woman in the audience. Violence against women, 6 God says no."

The post is littered with thousands of comments from people heaping praise on the rapper, calling him a 'hero' and a 'legend' for calling out the fan.

It was recently revealed that Drake had previously turned down the chance to work with Harvey Weinstein, who has recently been accused of a number of sexual assaults, after his manager 'got bad feedback about working with him', from a number of people, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Seems as though Drake is just one of the good guys, eh? And here's me thinking I couldn't possibly love him anymore after he's helped to ensure a third season of Top Boy, turns out I was wrong.
