Instead, the trio appeared to be there just for a browse, buying just a buying each: juice for Angelina, water for Shiloh and a store soda for Vivienne.

Absent for the trip were the actresses four other children, 16-year-old Maddox, 13-year-old Pax, 12-year-old Zahara, and Vivienne's twin Knox.

One possible reason for her trip to Target was for some lighting inspiration in the home fittings aisle, having recently run afoul of her lighting designer.

On Friday, she and her estranged husband were ordered to pay Odile Soudant €565,000 ($662,000 US) after they allegedly failed to credit her work on their French home in Provence.

The artist claimed the former couple drove her company towards financial ruin by failing to honor bills for a huge lighting project on the Chateau Miraval estate.

Following the ruling, Brad's spokesperson released a statement to DailyMail.com: 'We respect the Court's decision resolving this long running, standard dispute regarding commercial issues and payment of invoices. This ruling does not address any copyright issues involving [lighting] designs developed by Brad.'
