After creating a storm of sorts in Bollywood with his maiden book An Ordinary Life, Nawazuddin Siddiqui dropped yet another bombshell on Monday, when he “apologised” to all the people he “hurt” in the book. The Gangs of Wasseypur actor took to twitter, and even announced that he was “withdrawing” the book.

An Ordinary Life, which was released on October 25, ruffled many feathers in the industry for the 43-year-old star’s sensational revelations of his multiple affairs and one-night stands. The most controversial of these include a chapter on Nawazuddin’s torrid affair with his Miss Lovely co-actor Niharika Singh.
After the book was released, an upset Singh didn’t mince her words. “Nawaz and I had a brief relationship during the making of Miss Lovely that lasted less than a few months. So today when he paints me as a woman in fur enticing him into her bedroom with candles, or desperately calling him and mailing other women on his behalf, I can only laugh. He obviously wants to sell his book and it would appear that he is willing to exploit and disrespect a woman just to do so,” she said.
Another woman, Sunita Rajwar, who was mentioned in the book, put out a Facebook post clarifying why she left Nawaz.
In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times while promoting his book, Nawazuddin had said, “I don’t think I’m a superstar, but I’m a human being first. Har insaan chahta hai, mai kisi ko zarur bataun ki mai kaisa hun. Lekin iss darr se ki log mere baare mein kya sochenge, shayad nahi batata.”
