See pics: Imtiaz Ali celebrates 10 years of Jab We Met in his hometown Jamshedpur

Jab We Met, which completes 10 years of its release today, can be easily counted among the most loved romantic- comedy films of all times. The Imtiaz Ali directorial, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor, has a special place in fans’ hearts even today, and its dialogues and songs are undoubtedly evergreen.

Imtiaz had a rather special celebration to ring in ten years of his most successful film. He undertook a train journey (like the lead characters in his film!) and travelled to his hometown Jamshedpur. “Travelling by train on the 10th anniversary of Jab We Met - purely by chance!” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Overwhelmed by all the love, Imtiaz says, “This is what Jab We Met has given me — access into the houses of people I don’t know. This is a house I have never visited, most people I have never met before.”
