This monday, tennis player Svetlana Kuznetsova hacked off her hair at the WTA finals match and beat the defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska, who is currently World No.3, by 7-5, 1-6, 7-5. This 31-year-old Russian felt that match and winning it was much more important than her locks.

This is an example of not to take impulsive decisions, keep your head cool as much as possible. All because, haste makes waste. Always give a thought to anything that you do. Now, being unable to handle such pressing pressure of surviving and winning in the match, Svetlana cut her hair. This, she is surely going to repent now! And disturbing while playing. So, she went to her bench, sat, took a scissor and BANG, cut her hair. The crowd was utterly bewildered on Svetlana's actions.

Difficult to handle such anxiety

The pressure to win a match is immense and Svetlana could not tolerate her hair coming in between. So, she got irritated and committed this shocking move.

She felt that immense weight had been lifted off her head. Her sigh of relief said it all. Spectators at the Singapore gazed in sudden disbelief when Svetlana gave herself this impromptu haircut.

"I was trying to put it behind my headband, but my hair is very thick and heavy," she said. "In the end, when I was hitting the forehands, every time I would hit a good shot... it would hit my eye every time and I was struggling. I thought, 'okay, what's more important now - my hair which I can let grow or the match?" said Svetlana after the match.

Victory matches nothing else.

And the happiness derived from it neither. Svetlana believes in delivering results and not making excuses. She has proved that Winning is not everything for her, it is the only thing for her.
