"I'm Isabel Sieh, 12 years old, and I love to code." 

12 year-old Isabel has a passion for coding and hopes to teach other children about programming language. 

At age 10, Isabel began teaching herself how to code. 

"When I was around 10 years old, my teacher noticed that I really love math so he suggested that I start coding. He showed me this website called Code Academy," Isabel recalls. 

Soon, she was learning about Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and JavaScript through online courses. 

Her mother, Ronna, found out about her interest in coding and decided to get her tutors to further her education. 

As time went on, Isabel began to see the difficulties and limitations of learning through internet forums. At her mother’s suggestion, Isabel created her own community for like-minded youngsters. 

She created Girls Will Code; an online community targeted at young girls interested in coding. 

"When you're in a community, it's easier," Sieh said. 

Isabel hopes that Girls Will Code - and her various visits to public schools – will encourage other children to pursue coding. 

"It's the same thing as language. As you learn early, you get really fluent." She said.
