This Chicken Died For Humanity And No One Thought Twice About It! Must Read!

The Facebook page, Happy Hen Chicken Rescue, posted a photo of a chicken which died in "childbirth." The page captioned the photo with:

"She died this morning, breathed her last breath. Why? Because of the bloody egg you see in this image. That is why she died. She laid this egg and it killed her. Her body was too weak from being bred to lay over 300 eggs a year. In the wild, hens lay 12. She died for this. She died so that humans could steal her eggs and eat them. She died for human greed. But she only wanted to live, happy and free. She didn't deserve this, no one deserves this.

Please don't be silent. Your silence betrays her, and every animal suffering as we speak.
#AnimalRights #UntilEveryAnimalIsFree"

It speaks of the cruelties of excessive animal farming and mindless consumption. Food Business News released a study on egg overproduction saying that not only does this practice affect chickens, it also affects how the product is moved in the market.

Happy Hen Chicken Rescue also followed up the post with a comment saying that Facebook wouldn't let them boost the post as it featured a dead chicken but have no problems showing a cooked chicken.
