In October 2015, the former ballerina underwent a Follicular Unit Transplantation. A thin strip of hair-bearing skin from the back of her scalp was transplanted to the bare area parts of the top of her forehead.
‘I wasn't nervous – just really excited. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible. I knew I had made the right decision,’ she said.
The surgery took eight hours to performed and Diva was advised not to touch her hair for an entire week.
After just a few months, she started to see results. ‘When I saw the results I was absolutely gobsmacked. After only a few months I could see my hairline start to grow back. Every month it just got better.,’ she revealed. One year later, she says she could not be happier with the results.
