In the age of social media, keeping an affair quiet is harder than it used to be - especially if your lover uploads pictures from your place while they're in it.
A furious Russian wife has dumped her husband after spotting the view from her bedroom window in another woman's Instagram pictures.
Yulia Agranovych, an orthodontist and dentist who lives in Saint Petersburg, spotted the familiar view in images uploaded to the social media app by a woman called Vlada Abramovich - along with pictures of her husband.
"I wasn't searching for anything, it was a normal morning," Yulia said. "Like any other person in the 21st century I began my day browsing through my Instagram timeline, and suddenly I saw this photograph."
'It turned out that this woman and I have a large number of the same subscribers. Having visited her account, I found many other interesting photographs - including those of my husband."
Faced with the sight, Yulia immediately challenged both her husband and the woman, posting "Beautiful view from my husband's bedroom" onto Vlada's photo. Brutal.
Yulia's husband, Nazar Grynko, initially denied that he was cheating, saying he had invited some friends over while she was away and the woman who took the photos was his friend's girlfriend.
"When the guests came, they would have headed to the kitchen to drink tea - not to the bedroom," Yulia told him. She's got you there, mate.
Vlada closed her account after being confronted by Yulia but later openly admitted on another site to having sex with Yulia's husband.
When asked if she felt guilty about sleeping with a married man, Vlada was hilariously unapologetic, saying: "She is his wife, not mine, what's the problem? Is he just a vegetable without free will? Don't make me laugh." Well, that's one way of looking at it.
Nazar later admitted having had several lovers when they were apart but claimed he was never 'mentally unfaithful' to Yulia and told every woman he was married. That's a good one.
When Yulia began contacting the other women, she found out that wasn't the case, and eventually took her story to a Russian news station. which led to other women sharing their stories with her.
"Many women supported me, posting that they were proud of my bravery, that I openly discussed it with irony and sarcasm, so now they are ready to get rid of their unfaithful men too," Yulia said.
Yulia admitted that she will end up getting divorced from Nazar, and that it will probably happen fast.
"I hope to do it quickly... such people never change," Yulia said. "If he finds a woman who is ready to be with him, and to accept it, let them be happy together."
"I'm so glad I got to know about it now and not when I became pregnant, for example, because we were planning to have a family. Or when I was 40 and we have three kids."
Yulia even thanked Vlada for teaching her a 'good lesson', although she didn't say what the lesson was. 'If you're going to play away, for fuck's sake don't post about it', maybe?
