232 Expats referred to deportation center, several more held in security raids

Capital and Ahmadi security commands Monday carried out security campaigns in different parts of the two governorates. During the campaigns, the areas surrounding Ahmadi Industrial Area, Bneid Al- Gar and Sharq Industrial Area were closed.

Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Faisal Al-Nawaf issued directives to the participating officers and securitymen to patrol the main roads and internal streets in order to arrest those wanted by law, and violators of rules.

The campaigns resulted in the inspection of the documents of 900 individuals. A total of 232 individuals were referred to deportation center, General Department of Residency Investigations, General Department of Criminal Investigations and other relevant authorities.

 

The arrested individuals also include nine individuals wanted for criminal cases, 12 residency law violators, 75 with expired residencies, nine wanted for civil lawsuits, 99 without any identification documents, 21 reported as absconding, and two suspected of possessing drugs and liquor.
