The driver, who is detained, has appealed the ruling.

A family driver, who was driving an 8-year-old girl to school when he molested her, has been sentenced to three months in jail by a Dubai court.

According to public prosecution records, the 43-year-old Pakistani man took advantage of the little girl when they were alone in the car. 
The Court of First Instance convicted him of the charge and ordered his deportation.

The case dates back to March 21 this year in Hatta.

Her mother, an Emirati housewife, said the defendant was working for them as a driver. She found out about the incident when she spotted red marks on her daughter's neck. "She told me the defendant bit her neck. She also said that he had previously touched her by slapping her on her hand, shoulder, and leg."

She added that the marks were on both sides of her daughter's neck. Her husband filed a complaint when he learned about the matter.

The girl recounted that the incident happened as she sat in the front seat of the car when the accused was taking her to school. When she tried to push him away, he forcibly stopped her from moving.

The driver admitted during the public prosecution investigation he bit the girl's neck and slapped her on the back.

A forensic report showed that there was a mark on the girl's neck which could be a bite.

The driver, who is detained, has appealed the ruling.
