An Indian woman recently lodged a complaint at Ahmadi Police Station against an Egyptian salesman of a mobile phone store, accusing him of raping her, reports Al-Rai daily.
She explained that the suspect told her about a room available for sharing with some other Asian women, and took her to an apartment where he raped her.
Securitymen summoned him to the police station and questioned him. He admitted to the act but denied raping her, insisting that it was consensual. He as well as the Indian woman were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
