Jordan's Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs officially summoned the Iranian Chargé d’Affaires in Amman to deliver a strongly worded protest regarding recent military incursions.

Ministry spokesperson Fuad Majali stated that the diplomat was explicitly instructed to convey Jordan's clear, uncompromising demand that Tehran immediately halt all attacks and airspace violations. The ministry stressed that Jordan's security and the absolute safety of its citizens remain definitive red lines that cannot be crossed under any circumstances.

Condemning Regional Aggression

The official summons strongly condemned the recent Iranian attacks as flagrant violations of Jordan's sovereign territory, established international law, and the Charter of the United Nations. The diplomatic move follows multiple incidents where the Jordanian Armed Forces successfully intercepted Iranian missiles and drones traversing their airspace.

Furthermore, the ministry utilized the meeting to condemn the broader Iranian military actions targeting member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Majali reiterated Jordan's unwavering solidarity with the GCC countries and voiced full support for the defensive measures they have taken to protect their own borders.
