This is the third consecutive month this year when petrol prices have increased in the country.
The cost of petrol in the UAE is set to increase in May, the country's Fuel Price Committee announced on Monday.
From May 1, the price of Super 98 will be at Dh2.48 a litre from Dh2.23 at present. Special 95 will cost Dh2.34, up from from Dh2.11 a litre in April, while diesel will cost Dh2.53 a litre, up from Dh2.49 a litre in April.
