The Court of Cassation has sentenced a Saudi man to three years imprisonment with hard labor to be followed by deportation after serving the sentence, reports Al- Rai daily.
According to security sources, the suspect was arrested for blackmailing a Kuwaiti and threatening to post his fabricated porno pictures in the social media. The arrest came after the victim filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Department of the Ministry of Interior.
The complainant claimed he has fabricated defamatory pictures about him and demanded money not to publish the pictures in the media. The security authorities told the victim to pretend to accept the offer, set a trap and caught the suspect redhanded.
