Video: Dubai princess rescues 80-year-old turtle

The turtle was saved from a dismal condition, put on the road to recovery and given a new leash of life.

An act of kindness is the greatest source of happiness.

In a video that has gone viral on Instagram, Sheema, the granddaughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, was seen sporting a pretty smile after bidding farewell to an 80-year-old turtle which she had rescued before.

The turtle was saved from a dismal condition, put on the road to recovery and given a new leash of life.

Sheema's mother, Sheikha bin Mohammed bin Rashid, said on her Instagram account: "The animal welfare organisation named her 'Sheema' after my daughter, which really meant a lot to us. I wish we see the turtle come back to lay its eggs on the shore in a healthy state."
