A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing a male compatriot of holding her captive in one of the chalets in the south of the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspect allegedly wanted to forcibly marry her and during a scuffle as the woman tried in vain to escape she was injured in the upper lip. She also accused the man of attempting to rape her. A case has been registered against the man.
