Qatar Drives Regional Peace and Global Sporting Cooperation

Qatar managed several major diplomatic and local events today. HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Jordan's Crown Prince. They met at the Amiri Diwan to discuss regional cooperation.

Discussing the Regional Ceasefire

Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman took several important calls today. He spoke with the foreign ministers of Kuwait, Oman, and Finland.

These leaders discussed the recent ceasefire between America and Iran. They urgently want to reduce regional tensions and promote lasting peace.

Backing the Two-State Solution

Qatar proudly participated in a major global meeting in Brussels today. Officials joined the Global Coalition for the Two-State Solution. The European Union and Belgium hosted this critical diplomatic gathering.

Transport Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla also held a virtual meeting. He spoke with Saudi Transport Minister Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser.

Expanding Asian Sporting Ties

Olympic Council of Asia President Sheikh Joaan traveled to Malaysia today. He held high-level sporting talks with King Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar. They discussed using sports to foster strong relationships between nations.

Separately, the GCC Secretary-General praised Qatar for a recent achievement. Qatar successfully secured unanimous approval for an international parliamentary emergency resolution.

Boosting Local Safety and Skills

The Communications Regulatory Authority reaffirmed its commitment to digital safety. Officials want to protect consumers and foster a digitally aware generation.

The Justice Minister also honored staff for completing a leadership program. He wants to strengthen employee skills and enhance overall government performance.

Finally, the National Human Rights Committee held several important meetings today. Chairperson Maryam Al Attiyah met with the Tajikistan Ambassador directly. She also met the International Labour Organization Director in Doha.
