Thunderstorms are likely to continue on Sunday and Monday especially at noon and evening time, According to information shared by Qatar Met department on its social media accounts.

"Latest satellite images, the amount of clouds is expected to increase in the coming hours and the chance of thunderstorms continue today and tomorrow. "

"Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with thundershowers of variable intensity. It's expected to affect #Doha and most areas of the country during the coming few hours. Please take extra care." QMD said.

"Thunderstorms observed in several areas of the country accompanied with strong wind causing rising dust and poor visibility. Please take extra care, stay indoors during thunderstorms and avoid any marine activities."

Wind inshore, southeasterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 KT reaching 35KT with thundery rain.

Offshore, it will be mainly southeasterly to northeasterly 03 to 12 KT, reaching to 30 KTduring the thunder rain.

Thundery rain with hail reported in part of Qatar

Sea state

Inshore, 1 to 2 FT, rises to 5 feet during thunder rain. 

Offshore, it will be 1 to 3 feet rises to 8 feet during thunder rain.
