Good news for shoppers today. Two Audi cars and cash prizes worth thousands of riyals will be given away to the lucky shoppers at various malls across the country. The offers will be available as part of the Shopping Fun activity of Qatar Summer Festival that is organized by the Qatar Tourism Authority.

“Minimum purchase worth QR200 from participating shops and retail outlets at The Pearl-Qatar, Hyatt Plaza, The Mall, Al Khor Mall, City Center Doha, and Dar Al Salam Mall will entitle a shopper to one raffle coupon”,  said by one of the organizers.

During the first raffle draw that was held at Hyatt Plaza last week, at least 30 winners got cash prizes ranging from QR 1,500 to QR 100,00 while two shoppers drove home their Audi Cards (Audi A4 and Audi Q7). The second raffle draw will be held today at City Center Doha between 7:30 to 8:30 PM.

Jorg Harengerd (General Manager, City Center Doha), said that one of the winning coupons for an Audi car in the first draw came from their mall.

He mentioned that the Shopping Fun activity had given the chance to win prizes to many shoppers, who enjoyed shopping with their families and friends.

“On a purchase worth QR400, shoppers will be given two raffle coupons, so the chances of winning are more if you shop more”, he said.
Harengerd unveiled that besides the raffle draw, mall-wide sale is also going on where shops and retail outlets are offering “huge discounts”.
A staff member of one of the sports shops at the mall said that this Shopping Fun Activity has boosted their sales significantly for over a week now.

“Shoppers are stretching their budget to get at least one or two raffle coupons”, he added.

At City Center Doha Yesterday, large numbers of visitors were seen buying various items from different shops and retail outlets.

Upcoming raffle draws will take place at Dar Al Salam mall on September 6 and The Pearl-Qatar on September 13.
