Nine-day holiday for Eid Al Adha 2019 announced by Saudi stock exchange

The Saudi Arabia stock exchange on Monday announced a long holiday for the upcoming Eid Al Adha celebrations.

Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) will observe a holiday starting August 9 until August 17 -- a nine-day break.

"The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) is pleased to announce that Eid Al Adha will commence on 8-8-2019 (7th of Dhu al-Hijjah1440). Accordingly trading will be as follows: Trading will discontinue at the end of trading day 8-8-2019 (7th of Dhu al-Hijjah1440), and trading will resume after the holiday on 18-8-2019 (17th of Dhu al-Hijjah1440)," the exchange said.
