Saudi Ministry Records Over 15 Million Volunteer Hours

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance reached incredible milestones during early 2026. Its branches across the Kingdom reported high participation in several volunteer programs.

Breaking Volunteering Records

The ministry provided 18,570 unique volunteer opportunities this quarter. Over 203,000 male and female volunteers eagerly joined these initiatives. These dedicated people contributed more than 15 million total volunteer hours.

This massive effort generated an economic return exceeding SAR 138 million. These figures reflect the expanding scope and social impact of local volunteerism.

Dedicated Service During Ramadan

Many of these successful efforts happened during the holy month of Ramadan. Volunteers worked hard to clean, sanitize, and perfume mosques for worshippers. They also guided visitors and served the elderly or people with disabilities.

These important actions helped everyone perform their rituals with ease and tranquility. The ministry continues to foster an environment of community service and religious dedication.
