Live cricket score, India vs Bangladesh, Hyderabad Test, Day 1: IND 356/3 at stumps

Currently the top Test team with a formidable home record, India are overwhelming favourites in the one-off match against a side eight rungs lower in the official rankings. Bangladesh are particularly handicapped by their limited Test exposure and the team managed to lose a Test match in Wellington last month despite scoring almost 600 in their first innings. It was yet another instance of their batting inconsistency. India are hosting Bangladesh in a Test match for the first time ever. India have a 6-2 win-draw record against their neighbours. India, batting first after winning the toss, were 356/3 at close. Murali Vijay was out for 108 while Cheteshwar Pujara scored 83. Virat Kohli scored his 16th Test hundred (111 batting).
