101 overstaying Filipino expats fly home from Dubai

"Good thing about the UAE's government amnesty program is that we can both come back here with no travel ban. We will just go home to see our families and after some time, God willing, we will come back to Dubai to find work - but this time we will go through the proper channels, meaning we will process our papers through the POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration)," they added.

More stories of happiness and expectation were composed in the characteristics of the other returning Filipinos.

Philippine Consul-General Paul Raymund Cortes stated: "I wish them fortunes as they warmly rejoin with their particular families whom they haven't seen for quite a while. This (amnesty program) has shut a pitiful part in their lives and I intensely trust they compose another and upbeat section of their lives back home. I additionally trust they felt the true mediation of both the UAE and Philippine governments to improve their lives."

Agnes Pagaduan, PAL nation director UAE, included: "We are cheerful to be a piece of sending our kababayans (countrymen) back home. We want them to enjoy all that life has to offer and we trust that they will have the capacity to h

ave a better future ahead."
