A Spectacular Gathering Of International Art
The United Arab Emirates prepares to host an absolutely phenomenal cultural event soon. The inaugural edition of Frieze Abu Dhabi kicks off this coming November. The massive event runs aggressively from the 19th to the 22nd at Manarat Al Saadiyat. Organizers successfully secured the participation of 84 elite galleries from 36 different countries. This spectacular gathering firmly cements Abu Dhabi’s position as a dominant global arts destination. The Department of Culture and Tourism partnered directly with Frieze to execute this vision.
Showcasing Centuries Of Brilliant Creativity
The massive fair will proudly present breathtaking artworks spanning multiple centuries. Visitors will view incredible pieces ranging from ancient antiquity to cutting-edge contemporary designs. World-renowned galleries like Gagosian and Pace Gallery will aggressively display their best collections. The event features four highly distinct sections to organize the massive artistic display. The Frieze Masters section will aggressively explore historic cultural exchanges across the Indian Ocean. Another section will highlight brilliant solo presentations by highly diverse international artists.
Building A Phenomenal Cultural District
The comprehensive program also includes the highly anticipated Frieze Abu Dhabi Artist Award. Visitors will enjoy spectacular outdoor installations through the massive Frieze Sculpture initiative. This phenomenal event perfectly complements the rapidly growing Saadiyat Cultural District. The island already hosts the breathtaking Louvre Abu Dhabi and the upcoming Zayed National Museum. The highly anticipated Guggenheim Abu Dhabi also schedules its massive grand opening this December. The government aggressively invests billions to dominate the global cultural tourism market completely.
