A four-year-old Emirati boy died after drowning in a washing machine in Ajman, UAE, according Khaleej Times.
As per Police the Emirati boy was with his grandma and uncle at the family villa when he sneaked his way into the laundry room. He got inside the front-load washing machine and shut its door, provoking the washer to run, the investigation appeared. The machine was automatically filled up with hot wate and the washing cycle started, turning and suffocating the kid to death.
Director of Al Humaidiya Police station, Lt-Col Yahya Khalaf Al Matroushi said, that they got a call from the hospital at the operation room about the incident.
Emirati boy was later found by his mom as she came to lift him up from his grandma house.
His uncle needed to break the entryway of the machine to recover the youngster.
Lt-Col Al Matroushi urged parents and guardians must always keep an eye on children to prevent such accidents.
