Heavy rain hits parts of UAE again today

Parts of the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah have received light to heavy rainfall on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the tweets by NCM (National Center of Meteorology) in UAE, rain has hit the areas of Asimah in Ras Al Khaimah and the Wadi Sidr in Fujairah.

The NCM had also reported heavy rainfall in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah on Monday evening.

Tuesday's morning bulletin had forecast the weather to be hot and humid. The maximum temperature recorded in the UAE stood at 47.2 degree Celsius.

Light to moderate winds were also predicted to blow in general, freshening at times, causing blowing of dust and sand over some internal areas at times, the NCM said.
