A 60-year-old man was crushed to death while changing the tyre of his vehicle in Al Dhaid. He died on the spot after his car fell on him.
The police received a call from a motorist on the road and a team patrol and traffic department officers as well as an ambulance was rushed to the site, but they found the man already dead.
The police said the deceased was driving a four-wheel drive vehicle and had to stop when he realised it had lost its balance. He tried to fix the flat tyre by himself but the vehicle fell on him, resulting in his immediate death.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to Al Dhaid morgue for completing the procedures.
