A dumper truck had been parked on the side of the road.
A collision accident happened between a dumper truck and a pick-up vehicle on Wednesday.
The incident took place on Emirates road heading in the direction of Dubai.
According to the Umm Al Quwain police statement, the accident happened at 1:45pm in the afternoon.
A dumper truck had been parked on the side of the road when it was rear-ended by the dyna pick up truck.
One man was killed as a result of the collision.
The police reminded motorists of the importance of adhering to all standard traffic safety rules and procedures whilst driving.
